Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice describes how My Athlete LLC ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and shares information that may be considered Consumer Health Data under U.S. state consumer-health-privacy laws — including Washington's My Health My Data Act (MHMDA), Nevada's SB 370, Connecticut's health-data provisions, and similar laws — to the extent they apply to us. It supplements, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy.
1. What Consumer Health Data We Collect
Consumer Health Data may include information linked or reasonably linkable to an athlete that relates to physical health or development. For our app this may include:

2. How and Why We Use Consumer Health Data
We use Consumer Health Data only to:
- Provide and operate the app and its features you request
- Calculate growth percentiles, developmental guidance, progress tracking, and (if you opt in) an informational adult-height range estimate
- Display observed growth-velocity changes and annualized rates from the measurements a parent enters (if you opt in), for informational and educational purposes only
- Provide service communications and support, including the reminder emails and push notifications you enable
- Ensure safety, security, and fraud prevention
- Comply with legal obligations and protect legal rights
We do NOT sell Consumer Health Data; use it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising; use it to train AI/ML models (without your separate, explicit opt-in consent); or collect more of it than is necessary to provide the feature you asked for. We collect Consumer Health Data only with the consent of the person entering it (or, for a minor, of their parent or guardian), and never through geofencing or location tracking of any kind.
3. Who We Share Consumer Health Data With
We do not sell Consumer Health Data. We share it only with service providers (processors) that handle it on our behalf, under contract, solely to provide their services to us — not for their own purposes:
- Supabase — database & authentication hosting
- Cloudflare — website and video delivery (no personal data served with videos)
- Sentry — crash/error diagnostics (sensitive data filtered)
- PostHog — product analytics tied to a pseudonymous account ID and role only (no name, email, or athlete data)
- Resend — email delivery for service emails (a growth-reminder email may name the athlete and the action, never a measurement)
- Expo, Apple, and Google push services — relay the push notifications you enable; notification text passes through and is not retained for any other purpose
Who receives none of it: RevenueCat, Apple, and Google (subscriptions and sign-in), Stripe (Program Plan payments by organizations) and Meta (advertising measurement for adult account holders) receive no Consumer Health Data. Meta's measurement code never loads on any screen that shows or records growth, assessment, wellness, or cognitive information, so not even the address of such a screen is sent. We have no affiliates or subsidiaries and share no data with any.
This is the complete list. Where your state's law gives you the right to a list of all third parties and affiliates with whom we have shared your Consumer Health Data, this Section 3 is that list; you may also request it by email at any time.
If a coach is on your team, they may see roster and assessment data for athletes whose parent/guardian has authorized that access. We do not otherwise disclose Consumer Health Data to third parties for their independent use, and we would obtain your consent before any such disclosure.
4. Your Rights
Where these laws apply to you, you have the right to:
- Access / confirm: Confirm whether we are collecting your Consumer Health Data and access it.
- Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for our collection or sharing of your Consumer Health Data.
- Delete: Request deletion of your Consumer Health Data, or delete it yourself in the app (individual entries, a whole feature's history, an athlete profile, or the entire account).
- Correct: Edit inaccurate measurements or scores in the app, or ask us to.
- Receive the list of recipients: Obtain the list of third parties and affiliates with whom we have shared your Consumer Health Data (Section 3).
- Appeal: If we deny a request, appeal by replying to our response; if you remain unsatisfied, contact your state Attorney General.
How to withdraw consent: turn off the optional feature (the adult-height estimate, Enhanced Growth Velocity, wellness check-ins, benchmark contribution) in the app, delete the entries or the athlete profile, or email us. Withdrawal stops further collection and sharing; we then delete the withdrawn data on the schedule in our Privacy Policy, keeping only the minimal consent record needed to show that you withdrew.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
5. How to Exercise Your Rights
Email [email protected] with "Consumer Health Data Request" in the subject line. Include your name, account email, and state of residence. We verify your identity (typically by confirming control of the account email) before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may contact your state Attorney General.
